history / lore
Rane Chukla serves as Grandhealer to the Eversteel household and has known Bengent since birth. Over the years he becomes both physician and family confidant, treating injuries while quietly safeguarding sensitive information concerning members of the royal family.
Before Bengent begins his Trials, Chukla gives him a copy of The Healer’s Handy Herbarium, urging him to study it because the knowledge might someday save a life. His medical expertise proves important again when one of his creations is used to disguise the prince during the secret beginning of his journey.
