Terminth
dragonkin name:
Unknown
rialtan name:
The Bone Dragon
dragonkin title:
Unknown
element:
Death
Lair:
The Hopeless Sands

Physical Description
A cadaverous, skeletal dragon with the appearance of something caught between life and death. Terminth’s decayed skull rises above gangly shoulders, while two enormous tattered wings stretch from her wasted frame. Her eyes are little more than dark, empty sockets, and a frayed muzzle exposes rows of chipped, uneven teeth. Long limbs end in gnarled claws, while decrepit oversized paws carry her with a series of ominous snaps and cracks. Her presence is as withered and unsettling as the barren lands she favors.
abilities
Terminth is associated with death, decay, dust, and the end of living things, though the full extent of her powers has not yet been revealed. Her very form appears partially decayed, and her Dragonkin presence is represented at the Great Lair by a dull-grey sphere resembling a dusty flame. Her dialogue suggests a deep affinity with mortality and dissolution.
personality
Terminth is sardonic, morbid, dryly humorous, and completely at ease with death and decay. She treats mortality as an inevitability rather than a tragedy and often answers her siblings with macabre wit. Her exchanges with Tilok and Abaduun reveal a creature who is sharp-tongued, difficult to unsettle, and seemingly amused by the discomfort others feel around her.
history / lore
One of the Eight, Terminth is the Bone Dragon and a living embodiment of decay. She lairs in the far reaches of the White Sand Desert, a fitting refuge for a creature drawn to barren and lifeless places. When the Eight gather at the Great Lair, she arrives in her characteristically unpredictable fashion and immediately resumes her morbid banter with her siblings. Her exchanges with Abaduun place her in philosophical opposition to the Green Dragon: where he speaks of renewal and rebirth, Terminth insists that all things eventually end.
