The Golden City
inhabitants:
Under Celar Piesta, Radiant Hills has become a monument to wealth, extravagance, and artistic perfection. The city maintains its prosperity through a demanding social system in which citizens work extensively while retaining little of what they produce. Those unwilling or unable to work face assignment to the beautification corps or exile.
Unlike many of Rialta's legendary Great Cities, Radiant Hills has remained free from conquest by the elder dragons. Its citizens believe their extraordinary city pleases the dragons and serves as a worthy tribute to their magnificence.
mysteries / significance:
Radiant Hills represents the uneasy intersection of prosperity, obedience, and freedom. Its citizens believe their magnificent city ensures the dragons' favor, but whether beauty can truly guarantee protection remains uncertain.
The city's wealth and social structure also stand in stark contrast to the ideals of the Eversteel dynasty.
