Cinfeld is the only son of Anodon Eversteel and the namesake of Cinfeld Heights. As a boy, he survived an encounter with a shadowrunner that ultimately led to Anodon’s historic alliance with the creatures and the conquest of what became Eversteel Keep.
After Anodon’s death, Cinfeld inherited both the mountain and the responsibility of protecting what his father had discovered. Unlike Anodon, he chose not to continue forging Eversteel, believing that the existence of a stable dragon core and the means to create nearly indestructible weapons could bring catastrophe to the kingdom if revealed. His son Thomrick saw this as cowardice; Cinfeld saw it as stewardship.
His reign lasted forty-two spins and was marked by peace, prosperity, education, health, and stability. When Longtooth eventually attacked, Cinfeld intended to don Anodon’s armor and defend his people himself, but Thomrick secretly took the armor first and confronted the dragon in his place.
