ABOUT
full name:
Jagris Eversteel
Title:
Former Queen of Rialta
Family Relation:
Wife of Cinfeld · Mother of Thomrick and Malia
Home / Realm:
Abru Forest / Cinfeld Heights
Physical Description
An older woman with platinum hair, steel-blue eyes, and a commanding presence. Jagris is first seen wearing a simple white cloth dress and a wooden tiara, visually reflecting the Eversteel family’s traditionally modest approach to royalty. In later years, she appears in simple red robes beside Cinfeld, her once-smooth features marked by the deep lines of age.
Abilities / Skills
Jagris is not presented as a warrior or craftsperson, but she is a strong royal matriarch with a decisive temperament and clear survival instincts. In moments of crisis, she quickly recognizes the safest course of action, urging the family toward the caverns and resisting rash decisions involving Anodon’s armor. Her strength lies in judgment, family loyalty, and an ability to act decisively under pressure.
Jagris
Personality
Protective, emotional, forceful, practical, and fiercely devoted to her family. Jagris reacts quickly in moments of danger and does not hesitate to chastise Malia when the princess treats Longtooth’s approach as a spectacle. Her sternness is balanced by deep affection for her children, particularly evident in her desperate attempts to keep Thomrick from confronting the dragon and in her continued grief over Malia’s absence.
History / lore
Jagris served as queen beside Cinfeld throughout his peaceful reign over Cinfeld Heights. Together they raised Thomrick and Malia within Eversteel Keep.
When Longtooth descended upon the Heights, Jagris was among those evacuated toward the inner caverns. She pleaded desperately with Thomrick not to face the dragon in Anodon’s Eversteel armor, wrapping herself around him before being pulled away to safety.
Years later, she remained beside Cinfeld as former queen. Despite the passage of time, Malia’s estrangement continued to wound her deeply; during a royal gathering, Jagris quietly admitted that she still missed her daughter.
